珠海格力电器总裁董明珠两会前夕接受采访时说：“金融危机对优秀的企业只是一场感冒。”
珠海格力电器经过10年的发展，在国内空调企业率先掌握了国际领先的第三代变频空调技术。目前，格力正在和日本大金合作，联合研发全球第四代变频空调技术。
总裁董明珠说，真正有技术实力的企业不怕危机的冲击，金融危机反而是优秀企业市场扩张的机遇。目前变频空调正在成为国内市场的主流产品，由于格力掌握全球领先的变频空调技术，目前在国内和国际两大市场上正处于全面进攻的阶段。
上月19日，格力与日本大金宣布全方位战略合作。而引人注目的，是格力在两家组建的全资企业中取得控股地位，这在日本家电企业对外合作的历史上“极为罕见”。
格力的“底气”来自哪里？董明珠的解释是：“我们已经打破了国际家电巨头的技术垄断，况且中国拥有全球最具潜力的巨大市场。”
她断言，中国会有一批优秀的企业因为这场全球金融危机而进一步走向世界，占领发展的战略制高点，成为具备全球话语权的跨国企业。
“雄关漫道真如铁，而今迈步从头越”这是珠海格力电器公司面对金融危机的宣言。
